Woman shot in car at Save-A-Lot Shooter later went to hospital with gunshot wound

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - A woman was shot while she sat in a car in a parking lot in front of a Save-A-Lot on Wednesday night.
The shooting happened at about 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the Save-A-Lot parking lot on 28th Street and Eastern Avenue in Grand Rapids.
Police on the scene said that the woman claims she was shot by someone who was in the car with her.
The woman was hit in the lower abdomen and was conscious when she was taken to the hospital.
After the woman was shot, the shooter fled. He arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound just before 9:45 p.m.
All injuries were minor, police said.
Police are still trying to determine the details of the incident.
