HASTINGS TOWNSHIP, Mich—
A home was destroyed by fire in Barry County early Thursday morning. A passerby noticed it and called police around 2:00 in the morning. The home, located on Durkee Rd. just south of M-43, was fully engulfed when crews arrived. Three different departments responded to the scene.
The home was previously for sale, and it's unclear whether anyone owns it. No one was injured.
